Well-known for its beer, Hofbrauhaus was originated in Munich, Germany more than four centuries ago. Today, it's considered the world's most famous beer hall. Lucky for me, I don't have to go all the way to Germany... with only seven hours drive from NYC, I was able to experience the traditional Hofbrauhaus food and beer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hofbrauhaus indoor dining room features traditional decors with nightly live entertainment, whereas outdoor dining area provides fresh breeze and relaxing water view. Must-try includes world famous freshly brewed biers (of course), Oktoberfest schweinshaxe, braised classic pork shank and potato pancake. Good eats and hearty meals! Can't wait to come here for Oktoberfest!
