Tarbell's is one off the best restaurants in the Phoenix area. Yes, it's a little pricey but I was impressed when our waiter could tell us all the ingredients in a particular menu item when asked... and there were quite a few! I had the scotch beef and my wife had the scallops. Our friends had the trout and spaghetti. The garbanzo bean appetizer is a wonderful. The wine list is spectacular. Our real treat was the bing cherry desert. I'm not usually a big fan of cherries but this was marvelous. Our overall experience was one of the better fine dining experiences we have had in a long time. Too bad they are not open for lunch.
