My friends and I decided to go to Montreal for New Years Eve. We got a really good price for the hotel for two nights, and it was in a great location. Just up the street there are a ton of bars, restaurants and cute stores to shop in. If you're going just to party, you can't beat the location. There's a gas station right across the street, banks and like I said tons of food which is great because it really all is within walking distance. There is also a complimentary car service that will take you within a 5 mile radius, which we took to Old Montreal. The staff was great about giving good suggestions for places to eat. The hotel is clean and trendy looking. I would say it's great if you're young and just looking for a good location to have fun in. I'm not sure if I would suggest this hotel for my parents, it might be a little too much in the middle of night life. The bed was actually really comfortable and so was the room. I can't speak to how the food is from the restaurant or how the room service is, we ate out for every meal because we had heard the restaurant was overpriced.
