I'm sorry to say that this place was a letdown. It seems like this shop caters to the neighborhood, which I understand because the rents are high--meaning the prices on the vinyl are inflated and the shop is the size of a shoebox. The sparse new vinyl was priced ok, but I couldn't believe how much the used vinyl was going for. Junk, B- records were selling for ridiculous prices and they don't even bother to put them in sleeves. And, they do one of the most irritating things a record store can do--they put the price stickers directly on the record cover. Why so lazy? How can that busted-looking B- record have any appeal without at least a reasonable attempt to raise the perceived value of it by putting a sleeve and a price sticker on the damn thing? I would skip this place, it is only for tourists and novices.
