I would not, under any circumstance recommend this school to anyone. Aside from the fact that the school is dirty, many of the works are either in sub-par shape or completely broken, there are no security measures in place, many days our son's diaper was only changed once in the 8 hour period he was there (we know this because we use cloth diapers), he was often sent home with a diaper and shorts that were pee'd through, the fact of the matter is that the owner of the school manipulated and lied to us on several occasions.
After getting to know other parents and background regarding the school, I came to find out that 75% of the families who attended the school in the 2012-2013 school year did not return the following year due to similar concerns. It was not out of the norm for parents to pick up their children only to walk into a room with no adult supervision. In some instances, toddlers were left completely unattended, on other occasions, they were left to the care of Sarette's 15 year old daughter. It was not uncommon to pick up your child and find their diaper completely soaked through. Often, we were sent home with another child's clothes, because the school was too disorganized to know what belonged to who.
I could continue to rant, but I won't. Please, if you are even considering this school, do research. Contact myself, or other parents who have left and learn the truth behind Shalom Montessori.
