Unfortunately, an overrated ramen destination :( My expectations were quite high considering its prime location in the Shangri-La, one of the few five star hotels in Toronto. My favourite part of this experience was probably the venue, high ceilings and modern decor. Relative to the price? Can't say the food was fantastic: - Momofuku ramen: If you like your ramen on the thicker side, you must continue your search elsewhere. Soup tasted more like watered down soy sauce that a creamy and rich broth. - Char siu burger buns: really overpriced for $5, basically cha siu on "man tou". I feel like I could have whipped this up using T&T food counter ingredients.
