My first experience at any Autobell Car Wash... I needed the car washed and the carpets cleaned. The attendant who took my order responded to my request by saying "carpet cleaning is pretty expensive" and it will take about 45 minutes". I told him I needed it done and paid for the service. While providing me instructions as to what to do next he said, "be sure they do a good job since your paying a lot of money for the carpets". I responded that I would appreciated if he would tell them that. His final words were something to the effect that I won't recognize my car when they are through with it. Not more than 15 minutes later, I was told my car was ready. I was able to see it proceed through the process and it was evident they did not clean the carpets. I showed them my receipt for the full service including carpets. A moment later an attendant said they read the receipt wrong and that they were now going to clean the carpets. After another 20 minutes I was told the car was ready. Mindful the automated car wash is not a full detail service, I was still disappointed with the cleanliness of the outside of the car, particularly since I saw the attendants wiping it down by hand. With the drivers side door open I could see something on the inside door panel (I think it was ketchup) and asked the attendant if he could wipe it off. There was also something tar like on the hood that wasn't there when I brought the car in. After a half-hearted attempt to clean it off I told the attendant I would take car of it at home. I also washed off the back window myself. While driving home it was clear the interior of the car was not well attended to. There was a smudge on the front passenger seat, present when I brought the car in, that I rubbed offed with my hand. Also, the center console was clearly not wiped down as was promised as part of the "Manager's Special" service I ordered. I won't be back to Autobell as the service I received was clearly not worth the $74.00 I paid (Manager's Special + carpet cleaning). Candidly the cleaning of the outside of the car can be accomplished equally as well at a drive through wash at a gas station for a fraction of the price.
