Ignore those complaints about no greeting, air blowers, and all that. What's important about a place like this is feeling welcome, comfortable, getting a great cut, not feeling ripped off, and looking forward to the next visit. Who cares about the tiny little stuff. If you're looking, you can always find complaints about anything. What is remarkable about this place is it is familiar, natural and authentic. It is not snotty pretentious or impressed with itself. I've been to plenty of hair cutters and barbers where it is all about them, when it should be all about you. And I don't know what they were talking about no one saying "Hello!" Shasma is right at the door, calls you "Baby," and makes SURE you are lined up whether you call ahead for an appointment or just walk in. When your finished, you don't feel scalped, and you've had a careful, old fashioned cut with a lather trim at a price that lets you come back just for a touch up because you can afford it. Give your business to a small, person-owned establishment like this. Just put up with the little quirks that give this shop character, like Cheers had in its day. I would call ahead though. It's a very popular shop.
