If it was for me, I wouldn't shop there. My wife likes it but not me. Firstly, it's very expensive and not always fresh. Secondly, the people working behind the meat counter always try to push things you don't want or force you to take more than what you asked for. Another bad example, today a lit sign at the butcher shop showed "Half chicken Bar-B-Q without trimmings at $6.49". I ordered that product but when the guy handed it to me, it was $7.49. I said the sign says $6.49 for the half chicken. The answer was "There's no more half chicken" Then why are you pushing something at me that I didn't ask for? He could have told me that there was no more left in stock and ask if I wanted something else no? The same on Ste-Catherine street. They all take lessons from the same teacher. Push as much as you can on the customers and most will accept it. I did not and did not buy anything for lunch at this place and never will.
