The food was delicious, but the sales practices left a bad taste. I expected a big bill. Appetizers are between $15 and $20 and entrees around $40. We also had cocktails and wine. Our very charming, but very fast-talking, server at the bar talked up the seafood platter. He encouraged us to allow him to put together a platter for us which, together with two appetizers and one entree, would be roughly the same amount as two appetizers and two entrees. When I got the bill, it was higher than even I was expecting. But one doesn't like to make a fuss, and one has had a cocktail and some wine, so one pays the bill gracefully. When I reviewed it later, however, that seafood platter totalled $68! Almost double the cost of an entree. As I said, the food was excellent, although the entrees are on the small side, but I would have preferred more honesty in the selection process. The take-away is to tell your server how much you'd like to spend on the seafood platter before you receive it.
