Well, you're not coming here for the ambiance. It's a little trashy inside actually. A mishmash collection of wobbly tables. Cracked and paint-spattered concrete floor. Unadorned cement block walls. Plastic silverware. Styrofoam containers as plates. So, why eat here? THE FOOD!
I've gotta admit, the food is pretty darn tasty. They make their own tortillas here too. Really tasty Mexican food. Both the red chile and green chile were very good. The chorizo was really phenomenal--not super fatty like a lot of chorizos, but actually meaty. Beans and rice are also very good.
I'm looking forward to returning to Carolina's to pick up some tortillas or a to-go order. As for eating inside again? That's not high on my list of priorities, but I'm not diametrically opposed to it either.
