i only ever come here once a year for a week or so during the fringe festival. i imagine its a decent place for local bands to play as there is a large enough dance floor thats supported a a jig or two of mine.
in the summer theres a makeshift outdoor bar set up with a few different beer - nothing of note - and burgers and dogs. this is a nice little feature. each of the tables have umbrellas and those number somewhere around ten lets say. go further west into the patio and its covered by tent.
curl once about the bar and you will find yourself walking through the doors of another room that is both once dainty and during the fringe, always heaving with people.
i think it lends itself well to a loose party atmosphere.
