We stayed at this hotel for one week during the Christmas/New Year holiday. Overall, we were disappointed because of construction that we weren't notified of in advance. If we had known about it, we would have stayed somewhere else.
The Good: Very nice breakfast (made to order omelets, hash browns, French toast and pancakes, bacon, etc), and evening cocktail reception. Friendly staff. Good location close enough to everything, but not in a very noisy area. Free shuttle to the Strip.
The Bad: Construction was going on for nearly the entire time we were there - jackhammering out floor tiles inside the hotel made it difficult to be inside the hotel (we could hear the noise everywhere) during the day. Probably because of the construction there were many wi-fi issues - basically, the wi-fi didn't work in the hotel for the entire week.
Overall: Life without wifi for a week is very tough, especially when you're on holiday in a new city and trying to find fun things to do with your kids. The Verizon wifi service on our phone saved us, but I would have liked to have been able to use my laptop or anything with a larger screen. I think the hotel should have notified us about the construction well before check in, giving us time to make other arrangements. At the least, I think management could have provided someone to help with wifi or fixed internet connections and troubleshooting.
