Love the concept and was glad to see it pop up in GTA after seeing egg waffle cones all over IG. Unfortunately they missed the mark on the execution.
I got the OG waffle with matcha twist. The waffle was a bit too crispy and missing that signature fluffiness that egg waffles have. I get that it's probably intentional so that it pairs well with the ice cream but meh. It also could have used a little more sweetness to it.
The ice cream was lacking as well. I got the matcha twist as I normally do to lighten up the matcha taste, but there was very little matcha flavor to begin with. Next time I would go full matcha, and even then I'm not sure that would be enough matcha flavor.
Service was friendly. Wait time is usually 15 minutes not including standing in line. If you walk into the mall looking for the place, don't be like me following the unit numbers, because you aren't gonna find shit. Just head straight towards the stage area in the food court. It's right there.
