This review is for the money center only. And not specific to this location. The one star is for the nice young lady who helped me on Saturday. I was recently laid off ( blessing of the year) and was told my final check would be mailed out 6/1. Great. They can't just direct deposit it. No. That's too convenient. It was mailed out 6/4. Which means I didn't get it until Saturday. No banks were open by this time. I go to Walmart. They cash checks, right? I get in line. I wait. It's my turn. I hand the lady my check and my ID. She tells me to enter my SSN# on the keypad. Um... Ok... She has me enter it a second time. I oblige. Why am I entering my SSN? "I'm sorry" she says. "We can't cash this check". You can't cash my check? Was that a credit check? Are you telling me I'm not good enough for Walmart? I have a bank account. I have credit cards! I have a Victoria's Secret card! The guy ahead of me, with the track marks, prison tattoos and the shakes... He's ok to cash his check but not me? Seriously. I was trying to cash a check. From a huge, well known corporation. I wasn't asking for a line of credit, people. I suppose you have no problems allowing me to SPEND my money there. Of course you don't.
