$3 craft beer specials - what planet am I on?! I'm coming in from Chicago, where a craft beer STARTS at $6, and if you really want a $20 beer there is probably one on the menu.
So yeah, I'm really pleased with the Madison restaurant scene :D Tipsy Cow is no exception. I had the fried walleye sandwhich, and it was done up perfectly. There was some kind of spicy mayo and slaw on it, so there was some tanginess to balance out the savory fish fry flavor.
I had a hot pretzel as my side (?!) and it was great, would be the perfect compliment to a beer and burger combo.
Onion rings were a bit much for me, they are huge and hugely breaded. But whiffing on one side is no big deal, the pretzels were great :)
