I have an old house with several exterior drains that the gutters/downspouts feed into that have been clogged since I bought the place 5 years ago. I contacted them as the plumbing company that I use increased their hourly rates, and I was looking for an alternative. They came on time, and were pleasant. Unfortunately, the pipes were apparently clogged for a very long time, and had rusted inside. They were unable to clear ANY of the 7 drains, yet I was still charged almost $600 dollars for what was just under 2 hours of their time (I was at the property the entire time). In addition, they said that they would email me an estimate for installing all new drainage pipes, and if I hired them to do that, they would subtract the $592.00 that they charged me. I never received that estimate. When I called them to schedule the appointment initially, the girl on the phone was disappointed to find out that I heard about them through AngiesList. Now I think that I know why. They do not charge by the hour, but instead, by the job. I can accept that they were unable to do the job, but $600 for a job that was not successful, and for only 2 hours of work by one man is extrememly pricey to me, and the lack of follow up was unprofessional. I will never use them again.
