I was really surprised by Sunny SnoBalls. We came in not expecting much (we're not typically a fan of shaved ice) but left impressed with the quality of ingredients and the flavor of the product. The snow itself has a great texture, super smooth and not icy at all. The syrups that we've tried so far haven't tasted like chemicals or been overwhelmingly artificial, which is something that's put us off of shaved ice in the past. The addition of ice cream at the bottom seems weird at first, but it works so well for some reason, and the ice cream (Thrifty brand) is so smooth and creamy as well. The workers are super nice and approachable, and they seem to genuinely care that you're enjoying everything. There's probably a flavor here for everyone - their syrup flavor list is huge, and I already know it's going to take me a few months to get through all the ones I want to try. Only knock on the rating is that it's a little expensive, but this is a great place to come for a treat once in a while.
