I'm a little conflicted on this review. First things first, IHG properties aren't my main go-to (I prefer Hilton brand) but there really aren't too many options without going another half hour from where I needed to be. The lobby smelled horribly of chlorine from the pool every time I went downstairs. Not your normal "oh, there's a pool nearby" - more like you walked INTO the pool. I can't imagine what the actual pool was like. The room and bathroom were both fine - not immaculate, but I didn't need to call anyone about what I saw. And there was plenty of hot water, which has been problematic in a lot of hotels I've been in recently. So there's a plus. The breakfast in the morning is free, but it isn't great. The cinnamon rolls are probably the best part, but I don't trust the egg products (scrambled or omelet.) Not a lot of variety either, but it's free so I can't complain much. There is a McDonald's nearby if you want to forego the hotel breakfast. If there was another good option, I don't think I'd stay here again - but unless something new opens up, I'll likely be staying here again in the future.
