I don't go here regularly because it's overpriced, extremely sweet, and has a custard consistency which makes it melts very fast. It's fun to go once in a while though for something different, like once a year. 2.5 rounded to 3 stars because the employees have to do more work to mix stuff in, it's an experience to make your own creation, and if it were cheaper, I might come twice a year. But really, we're in dairyland. Get real ice cream from the local chains and you'll be a lot happier. Chocolate Shoppe Ice cream is across the street. If you want custard, go to the local favorite and nationally acclaimed Michael's Frozen Custard or Culver's. I was recently reintroduced to two ice cream cakes from Cold Stone. The red velvet and cookie dough. Everyone at the party agreed Dairy Queen cakes are a lot better. The cakes weren't awful but I wouldn't mind if I never ate them again.
