We went in tonight as I heard that they had cleaned up since taking over the old Mezaluna location, and other locations have good food. So, walked in, looked around, realized it still looks like a dive, thought we might try it anyways. Then we turned around to see some guy in a booth alone, completely passed out . At 5:20 PM.
How much do they serve people here that it is OK to just lay down and have a nap between drinks??
This place has apparently not cleaned up at all. In fact the one time I did set foot into the Mez, no one was passed out in a corner.
At least my curiosity has been satisfied. The Regal Beagle has actually managed to lower the standards of the area since the Mez left.
