I gave then 1 star for answering their phone; Last year i moved from Southern US and shipped my 2006 Volvo S40 which had approximately 40,000 miles on the odometer. In the Fall I called Valentine Motors to schedule the installation of a 'block-heater' and servicing. Approximately 3 hours after scheduling the appointment I received a call from the Volvo dealer informing my they would do the servicing - but - they were unable to install a 'block-heater' because they would be unable to locate one for a 2006 Volvo model! According to Volvo America, the 2006 motor is similar to the 2015 model with slight modifications! SO, WHY didn't Valentin Volvo Service Department know this? Birchwood Motors, Winnipeg and Volvo of Edmonton both offered to ship a block heater to Valentine Volvo. I refused their offers because if the Service Department was too stupid to know this- they are also too stupid to install it. I now take my Volvo to Edmonto Volvo for servicing and they also installed the block heater into my 2006 model. .
