DISAPPOINTMENT! The cheeseburger was dry and tasteless. It came with nothing; no lettuce or tomato. I had the choice of putting ketchup or garlic aioli on it but nothing else. The fries were OK but nothing special. I was lucky enough to have the one server behind the bar who really took care of his customers but the rest of the Hipsters working behind the bar, they were more interested in talking to and impressing eachother than taking care of the customers. There was a definate lack of Management on my visit. A pint of draft IPA $13, I could buy a 6-pack of this beer for $10. Cheeseburger and fries $19. I would rather have a 5-Guys burger with it's better tasting meat and many toppings and bigger, better tasting fries all for half of the price. I just can't believe that Chef Ramsay has tasted and approved of this food. But after eating at his namesake Gordon Ramsay Restaurant at the London Hotel in Hollywood (Restaurant has closed) maybe he has found a way to make money on hipe alone. So everyone, don't waste your money here. I guarantee you that if you order the cheeseburger at the hotel coffee shop you will be eating better than at GR Pub and Grill. Someone conduct this burger challenge and post your results on Yelp. I would like to know how it goes.
