First visit of hopefully many! Initial shock was seeing a line going out the door and around the curb for 50 feet at 6pm on a Saturday. It took us 85 minutes to get to the counter to order our food. Long wait, but well worth it.
We ordered an Asado plate which includes all five cuts of their steaks for $50. We also ordered two empanadas, pork and chicken as well as roasted cauliflower and potatoes as sides. Not that we needed it, but just because of reviews and pictures, we ordered a steak burger sandwich, a small provoleta, and flans for dessert.
Steak burger was the best! Asado was great. Flan was very good. Roasted cauliflower was also good. The rest not as much.
Prices are reasonable. Their system of ordering and paying at the counter first is interesting and efficient. All staff and servers were friendly, helpful and efficient. Sauces were good but not really needed - steaks are good on their own.
All in all, it was a nice experience, and we will stop by the next time we are in Pittsburgh for sure.
And, remember that line at 6pm? It was still there at 9pm when we were leaving ... not the same people but equally enthusiastic!
