Grabbed a cappuccino at Dineen this morning. The coffee/espresso at Dineen is topnotch and the scones etc. are wonderful. BUT the reason this gets 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the staff. Sometimes the staff are great, well-spoken attentive, but too often they are soft spoken awkward poorly trained. I realize the soft spoken part may seem picky, but when you work in a busy café you need to speak up so the customer is able to hear you properly without having to ask for you to repeat yourself. If this happened once it wouldn't bother me, or even twice, but I go to Dineen often and it happens more times than not. I love Dineen, from the décor to the coffee to what the staff wears, but some better training is in order.
