I've been hiking for years now and of all of the trails that I have hiked, this has been my favorite. The trails here at North Mountain are really nice and relaxing. Most of your fellow hikers are very kind. That's one thing I love about hiking, usually everyone speaks and smiles at one another.
I like to compare the trails here to the trails at Camelback. In my opinion, Camelback is nice and challenging and here at North Mountain they're are less challenging but still a great workout, except it's not so strenuous that you can't relax and enjoy the view from the top.
North Mountiain also has a paved trail, this is especially nice if you are new to hiking or want to take the kiddies in a little trip.
