I typically leave great reviews, but unfortunately, the most recent interaction left me feeling a little uneasy and unvalued as a customer. We got my son's senior pictures taken last fall. It wasn't until now that I decided to look into ordering his announcements. Being he got his pictures taken here, I decided to inquire with Duke Photography on their announcement graduation designs. I was provided an email (by Chevy) with images of my son on the announcement designs, so that I visualize what they may look like. The announcement designs looked a little dated and perhaps minimal effort on their part in designing it. Being I wanted to provide them with my business and not giving up just yet, I suggested a few (of what I would consider) normal adjustments to the announcement which consisted of change in font, color etc. Who doesn't want their senior announcements to stand out and look great?! I felt I was trying hard to be fully happy with the product. I was then contacted by Chevy who notified me (per her Manager) they were not able to make the adjustments I suggested until I paid for the announcements. I explained that I was not convinced or fully satisfied with the examples of the announcements provided (mis matching background, colors, font etc.) and was hoping I can be fully happy with them before I actually purchase them. She indicated again, no adjustments can be made, until I guarantee I will buy them. This was a little uncomfortable (which I shared with them) felt uneasy pressured. I was a little taken back to hear this direction was provided by her manager. I just did not want to purchase something I was not fully happy with. Feeling uneasy and pressured, I made the decision to pay for my file (I had already purchased a package last fall) and run. I took my business elsewhere and was probably meant to be. Given I has already provided then business last fall (required through school), I no longer felt this was the place for me.
