My family was very excited to try out this new bakery in Rocky River and we were not disappointed! The shop itself was absolutely adorable. Everyone working there was so sweet and the decor was very unique and fun. It was like a whimsical fairy land (only way I can truly describe it). It's kind of what you think an upscaled bakery would look like. It had a little shop inside of it with different gifts you can add to your baked goods at checkout.
We went there to pick up my Nana's cupcakes for her 93rd birthday. We got two dozen with some of each flavor so we can get a wide variety. I then purchased sparkler "93" numbers to go along with it. All set to check out, rung it up, and it was $72!! I didn't expect that...at all.
In terms of the flavor, some flavors were better than others. My family tried all the different ones and some we couldn't really tell what was what. One of them was a chocolate cupcake with a maple frosting, but it was lacking flavor. But then they had a Bailey's and Coffee which was absolutely delicious.
Overall, it was pretty decent. I think it was a bit over priced with some cupcake flavors lacking, well, flavor. But the atmosphere and the selection were great. We will be back, but probably won't buying two dozen from there again.
