With a co-worker's birthday, and limited options for desserts/treats in Uptown, I was happy to find Jewell Treats on Yelp.
I arrived mid-afternoon and they have a wide variety of options to select from, including your standard or basis, chocolate and vanilla, to some more fun ones, peanut butter, cookies and cream and red velvet. I got a 1/2 dozen, typically $3.00, with a good variety, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and red velvet. The cupcakes were so light and fluffy you could tell them were made fresh that day. However, I will agree that although the frosting is good it is sweet and can take away from the flavor of the cupcake. Overall I was very happy and will definitely consider Jewell Treats again.
