Updated Review: After leaving my review, the business owner contacted me and was very sad to hear about my negative experience. He asked that I please come try Scooptacular one more time and said that he appreciated my feedback, even if it was negative. I really respect this in a business owner!! It's so nice to see an owner take feedback from these reviews and use it to make his business better.
We went yesterday and the ice cream was much better this time!! Mix-ins were found throughout the ice cream and I liked it! I had Manners, Please and my husband had the German chocolate cake. The person behind the counter was very nice and offered to let us sample some ice cream flavors before we chose one.
Original Review: I've been there twice because I always like to give a restaurant a second chance. I won't be going a third time. My first time I ordered cookie dough ice cream, there was NO cookie dough in it. Just vanilla ice cream. The second time, I got their "special" expecting it to be much better since it was a featured ice cream. No such luck! Sparse mix ins and ice crystals like it had melted and been re-frozen.
