As I page through the reviews on this page, I suspect a number are "manufactured". Our experience was similar to others below, in particular the person who was quoted $2500 to repair their Sub-Zero and suggested they had a valley monopoly. Our SZ was registering a temperature of 46 degrees. I called Sub Zero headquarters and they referred me to Tri City Appliance. They responded quickly having a technician to our place within a day. It took him less than a minute to tell us the condenser and evaporator needed to be replaced and that it would cost nearly $2500. Weighing the age of the unit and cost of replacement, we went ahead. I have to give them this; the tech obviously knew what he was doing. That's why I'll give them and additional star. But after following up with Sub Zero headquarters and obtaining a full accounting of the material costs, I understood that built into the $2500, was labor at $300 per hour. I should have never invested in my kids college education.....
