Unassuming and small, Sal's was a place we meant to go for a long time, but just never got around to. Once we stepped in, we knew they might have something here - brick oven fueled by wood, classic italian eatery styling, and a self-service window reminiscent of NY eateries I'm accustomed to. The pizza was tangy, well-cooked, and generally well-prepared, even though not technically a classic "margherita". Prices were reasonable and the service was what I'd expect, given that two kids were running the place tonight - (one prepping/cooking, the other taking orders.) We will most certainly go back.
