Update for Artistic Iron Works. I have noticed that the gate that was installed by Artistic Iron Works 4 years ago, has quickly turned into a huge rusted and faded mess. It has left rust stains on my concrete and has become a eyesore to the front of my house. Has it been turning this way for awhile? I would in all fairness, say yes. My wife had become very ill around the time of the install for this gate and I have been taking care of her over the past couple of years due to her being terminally ill. She took priority over this headache of a gate. Just recently I contacted Artistic Iron Works and spoke to the office staff,Customer service staff, and explained the whole situation from beginning to now. I explained that the gate was promised to me that it would be powder coated, but instead was painted. It's now rusted and faded. No it doesn't sit in the direct sunlight or water from sprinklers. David, general manager told me it's my fault because I didn't wax the gate... but he would spring for a gallon of paint so I could repaint it myself. I explained to him that it was promised to be powder coated and nowhere on the paperwork or verbally did his staff say I need to wax the gate. The gate was not even completely welded in some areas. He explained that after 4 years, it's due to my improper maintenance and negligence that his poor work and lies are not his concern. I explained once again my I'll spouse over the last couple years was my focus and priority, and if he delivered what he promised to begin with? We probably wouldn't be having this issue. He stuck to his insinuations that my negligence is the problem and has no other resolution. They pride themselves on customer service. .. that's a joke and a lie. David will speak to you like a phone hero Bully, and try to push blame on you while maintaining an arrogant and screw you attitude. Iam filling complaints with BBB and contractors board against this company and David. BEWARE CAUTION RED FLAG THEY WILL LIE AND WILL NOT DELIVER WHAT IS PROMISED AND SPEAK TO YOU LIKE YOUR A PIECE OF TRASH.
