The cashier completely ignored me while carrying out a conversation with another customer who had already paid. I waited patiently for a few minutes, looking around at the other non busy cashiers as they spoke to one another. I was hoping someone would offer to help me, or at least look at me and say something. No one did.. so I ended up walking away and checking myself out. Then one of the workers stopped me outside, which was embarrassing, to check my receipt. When he realized it was for nothing and how he was mistaken, he quickly apologized. So that's fine, he was just trying to do his job. I only wanted to buy ziplock baggies and dog food! I decided to call for they cook speak with their cashiers on being more friendly. It took me 10 minutes of waiting and the girl hung up on me, unable to find a manager. I called back and spoke to one in a few minutes, the store manager. He rushed me and interrupted me and basically hung up without me being able to let him know what happened. I've been a cashier before, even worked at a call center, so Im always extra friendly because I know how many rude people they must deal with. If only I could receive the same kindness from these employees.. I certainly won't be coming back.
