Played this morning with three friends from Oregon. They were down for the week. Played the Phoenician, Dinosaur at Gold Canyon, and Devils Claw at Whirlwind. Eagle Mountain was saved for last as I had always held course in high regard and had talked it up for the week. We were all extremely disappointed. Fairways were either under repair, completely saturated or full of bare spots. Greens were slow and uneven. Bunkers were in fairly good shape. When I complained in the club house at the end of the round I was told it was due to the high salt content of the reclaimed water they used. I was also informed there were only a couple of fairways under repair and they considered their greens to be in great shape. The traditional "Sorry you feel that way" followed and I left. The highest green fees for the week were spent at Eagle Mountain and it was hardly worth half of what we paid. If you remember the old Eagle Mountain you will be disappointed. Recommend staying away until they get the course fixed.
