We took an out-of-town friend here and had a good time with the tropical drinks. They have some really great selections-- we even ordered a drink that arrived ON FIRE!
The venue is pretty small, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a crowd. The atmosphere is dark, laid back, with a large bar taking up most of the space but there is a back room with couches and tables you can sit at. I only take off one star for the space because it can feel a little cramped depending on when you go.
We went on a Thursday night to avoid big crowds. There was a magician doing card tricks who was not cheesy in the slightest-- she was sassy and actually put on a good show for just us three. What I really liked though, was that she wasn't pushy or even mentioning tipping her. That can always be awkward at other places.
They also have pretty great service here. I ordered the Dole Whip with rum, and found that the rum WAY outbalanced the Dole Whip. I was having a really hard time drinking it, so they brought me extra Dole Whip on the side to help, which I thought was very thoughtful.
