I'm only salty about this because I did what they asked. I'm on vacation. A $200 hold on my debit card just because I used a debit card and not a credit card. Fine print did warn me, (rented on-line) but made it seems like they wouldn't hold your $ hostage if your provided proof of a return flight... Which I did. I'll get my money back when I return the car. Sorry kinda salty about it. I'm on vacation, don't own a credit card cuz they're evil, guess someone isn't getting a souvenir my funds are tied up in the rental. The car is nice though. Gas is cheaper in the city here. Don't go for the gas at airport.
