It was the last day of Dino's in the Desert so I finally went. The Dino's were animated, movement sound and a few squirted water. The colors were predominately made up because they don't know what they really were. One looked similar to the gambles quail.
Omg I spent 45 minutes attempting to stroke the string rays. It was suggested I leave my hand in the water horizontally and if the SR wanted it would come to me. The large dark brown ones were most willing and I giggled each time one approached. They were sleek to the touch.
I learned that the various colors were similar to humans with different hair color. One other variety in the pool was the blue spotted SR, but they remained stationary on the bottom like flounder. I had to get my arm way down to touch the coarser feeling bamboo shark. What a blast.
I checked out the gift shop and saw some great items.
