This is not my first time going to this salon. When I called them I initially asked for Kai. But they said he's off that day. So I asked whoever's available that day. They said Wendy is available. I can't wait to get a haircut cause my hair is so long so I agreed to get my hair done by Wendy.
When I got there, Wendy approached me. I've never seen her before so I was guessing she's new. I didn't mind getting a haircut by anyone else thinking this is a professional salon, so whoever's gonna do my hair will do a decent haircut.
My experience with Wendy was okay. She seems to be a sweet girl and very soft spoken. She seems nice. I asked her to give me a V shaped layers and some long bangs. Seems like nothing's wrong while she's cutting my hair. She's very gentle with my hair. I also asked for a blowout. After maybe 10 mins of attempting to do a blowout she told me my hair is so straight so she said she's gonna do something else. She curled my hair. I don't mind if she did that but it would've been great if she did a blowout.
5 inches off later, my curled hair looked pretty decent. Seems like nothing's wrong. They charged me $45 and I gave Wendy a $5 tip. I was neither happy or disappointed right after the haircut.
The next day when I wash my hair, I noticed how some of my hair is long and some are short. I asked my sister to take a pic of my hair and I was disappointed to see how uneven my hair is! Now I'm embarrassed to put my hair down.. Wendy was a nice girl but I think she needs more experience before going out there cutting people's hair.
