$1100.00 and change to replace 4 Ignition coils in my 2009 Chevy HHR and this is just two days after I paid them over a grand to change engine oil / and transmission oil and some sensors I DON'T THINK SO ! I left and went around the corner to O'Reilly Auto Parts and bought 4 brand new ignition coils for less than $200.00 TOTAL and that's after taxes. (LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THEM TOO)... Went home and changed all 4 coils in less than 20 minutes (ONE BOLT with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet pull the coil put in the new one and tighten it down and DONE) and even had my wife change one (to show the simplicity) who has no mechanical background whatsoever and she was appalled as to the money they wanted to do this after experiencing the simplicity of changing the coils....... This coil issue came 2 days after they just changed the other sensors they said needed replacement and I was told when I picked the car up...... no worries the check engine light won't come back on.............Then...............They had the BALLS to charge me over a hundred dollars to run another scan after I just gave them my business as previously described for over a GRAND ! I could have gone to O'Reilly's right next door and they would run the scan for FREE !!!!......Thunderbird Automotive Specialists will wait for a cold day in Hell before I ever drive on that property again. I won't even buy my propane gas there anymore..... You can go there if you'd like but they'll never see me again I can promise you that. I ran a business too and you just don't do stuff like this if you want good reviews and return customers. This kind of treatment will get you advertising for sure and the it travels fast.
