I call it the little hidden gem of our neighborhood. For those who haven't discovered it yet - and I mean discovered, because of the little nook it is tucked away in - the tiny dessert shop is at 250 Queen's Quay very near the Thai restaurant on the North side of Queen's Quay. This is one of the new additions to the hood and certainly a good one. The owners, also neighborhood folks have picked a great staff. Really friendly. And great range of products. Fridays is usually a $1 coffee day. And so worth it. The best part is that they open early, 8AM and close late, midnight, making it a great pick-up-a-beverage-on-the-way-to-work or drop-in-after-dinner, kind of place. And guess what for you dog lovers out there? There's a special bow bow treat, banana peanut butter gelato. So what's on the menu? Really unusually flavoured icecreams, gelato, soups and sandwiches, beverages, cakes and muffins. Though the dig opened in the late Fall last year, it is quickly becoming a local hang out - watch out SPoT and Dairy Queen. I think this one is definitely here to stay. Check it out and you'll know why.
