I've been to this airport several times, but it was my first time sticking around due to a layover. I felt like all of the newly built & favorable restaurants were located in every terminal but mine. I didn't realize how stuffy (temperature wise) & crowded this place was. LAX is busy but never stuffy. I will say that from previous experiences it is easy to maneuver around this airport because of the large space available to get to where you need to go AND staff is friendly.
