I hate to write this review because I am a huge supporter of frequenting local businesses. As someone who frequents a business, I expect a certain level of customer service. The service is lacking here.
My fiancée and I have stopped in at least a dozen times. The gentleman behind the bar never seems to enjoy being there. Unfortunately for him, there are other draft houses and breweries in the area. Places where the owners and bartenders acknowledge that they have seen you there before. Places where bartenders and owners seem excited to have earned your repeated business. Call me uppity if you must, but good customer service keeps me coming back.
The positive points of my initial review still hold true, but after experiencing better service at other local haunts, DBC is no longer "as good as it gets".
