James Hotel? Mondrian? I didn't think the James Hotel was around long enough to suddenly become something else, but alas, it has.
Either way, I think the J Bar or the Mondrian bar or whatever they're calling it is just okay. It's a small cocktail lounge-y type place with pricey drinks and a hip atmosphere. The lounge attracts both old and young, including the sugar daddy types dressed in fine suits and bling-y watches that send beam like signals out to busty blondes looking to be taken care of.
They also have a little patio area and a fire going in the winter time. But this place still only gets 3 stars from me. It's not the worst place to go, but it's not the best either.
