I initially found an ad on Craiglist and text for a bid. I received nothing back until 3 weeks later. In the mean time, I got a new phone and was under the impression I was corresponding with a different company when he finally did reach out. I would have never even moved forward with someone that was not responsive. After the owner, presumably Cory, cancelled 2 appointments he previously set up to do a bid, he offered to come on a Saturday and provided a cost. I still needed to run some irrigation lines under where the pavers would be and to get the actual material before I could move forward. I let him know this. However, Cory is rude and impatient and coincidentally on the day I had a company out working on the irrigation, he decided to text me the following out of nowhere: "I would have never come to your house on a Saturday had I known you weren't going to be interested. In a message to me you made it seem like you were wanting it done quick". I explained my busy schedule and timeline and let him know that due to his text message I would not be moving forward with him to which he responded, "you had zero intention of doing it period. I haven't heard from you in 2 weeks, and you were thinking this weekend? When did you plan on telling me? The day before?" No... I said I was planning on getting the material and would have been patient to work with you schedule. Seemed fairly nice until he thought he wasn't going to get the job. Can you imagine if he got the job and there was an issue? This prick is all about himself. Don't be a business where you have to bid to get jobs if you think you are going to get every one you bid. True colors came out.
