After being without shuttle service at Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix, I went out to the cab area and was directed to the next available cab, which was an Apache cab.
I gave the driver the address and asked for an estimate to my destination. He said $29. He had to look up where to take me and had the meter running while he found out how to get to my destination, despite me giving him directions.
By the time we got out of the airport the fare was over $12 - total fare was $45, quite a bit more than the $29 quote.
I do not think I should have been charged while he looked up how to go and I still had to give him directions because his GPS was sending him the incorrect way.
Contacted Apache Taxi about this and NEVER heard back. Rude.
I would give them zero stars if I could.
