This was my first trip to the Toronto Zoo, (WHY??!! Its amazing) and even though it was somewhat chilly out and snowing, I think it's one of my favorite new things to do in T.O. All the staff working were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, which makes any experience anywhere all the more better. Strange enough, all of the animals were out and in fine form, despite the snow and cold. Word to the wise, you may not get to see all the animals in the wintertime, It however is not nearly as busy. So although exhibits like the giraffes were shut down, We didn't have to fight through huge groups of people so see the exhibits (good thing too, I'm a measly 5"1, so 10 year olds tend to be taller than me). So if you are ever in Toronto, pop by the zoo, it will make you feel like a kid again, and it's a great way to pass an afternoon.
