Their billing department head build me a co-pay that should've been waived after being admitted into the hospital for treatment and further imaging. Their billing department told me they can hold you in the hospital for a week or more and still be considered outpatient. I asked them for documentation. Their response from the billing department was will just take you to collections and so they did. And when it comes to them sending bills out they are usually 90 days after your visit. Maybe they're waiting to see what is covered by the insurance but to say that I'm 90 days past due when you don't receive a billing until 90 days after is not right. past-due should be considered from the first billing that you receive. We need to stand up against these kinds of companies that don't care especially when they're in the business to give care.
