Stayed here for two nights recently and was overall very pleased. We had a car with us this trip and that was, in part, why we wanted to avoid the big Strip hotels: They are SO big. And their garages are SO big. And we did not really like the idea of having trudge three miles from our room to our car. With our luggage. Through a casino. And so, we opted for the Residence Inn, where we could park our car just a few feet from our very comfortable and spacious suite. (And still be just a short walk away from the Strip.) Although there were just two of us and we were there for just a short time, we appreciated having lots of room to spread out, a separate sitting area, etc. (One odd thing about the room: It includes a full kitchen, but the kitchen table doubles as the computer desk. And, there is only one chair. This was not a big deal to us as we did not eat any meals in the room. But could be if there was more than one of you and you did want to eat at the kitchen table and you both wanted to sit.) The room was very quiet. I was a bit concerned when I saw a group of young boys -- with lots of beer -- moving into a room near ours. But, if they partied loudly into the wee hours or the morning, we did not hear a peep of it. The free breakfast offered lots of choices and was actually quite tasty, but the breakfast room was harried. We spent a lot of time waiting for things -- eggs, sausage, hot water, etc. -- to be replenished. (However, seeing just how many people were staying at the hotel made it all the more amazing that we were able to sleep so peacefully.) Front desk staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were both completely hassle-free and efficient. There's a computer station in the lobby from which we were able to print out our boarding passes, which was a nice convenience. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to others who want to visit the Strip, but then retreat to spot away from the lights and the noise and the crowds...
