I have visited the travel clinic for 3 vacations now and they rock! Doe asks you where/when you are going and shows you what shots you need and what drugs you need to take in advance (or while there, if you run into gastro trouble). Kind of expensive BUT cheaper than catching typhoid or some weird Amazonian disease that can only be cured with a $786,000 vial of imported baby scorpion venom. I love that this place is an option to visit before any exotic excursion! HELPFUL TIP: make sure you get the shots with plenty of time (Maybe 3 weeks or so?!) because I was not 100% vaccinated before I went to the Amazon (the shot needed 10 days for full immunity and I only gave myself a 4 day window) and she recommended I not go so it's best to get the shots early. (spoiler alert: I lived!)
